When quinoa was something we mispronounced, and kale wasn’t the ‘it’ ingredient, we paired them together, drizzled a little extra virgin olive oil, tossed in some garlic, sea salt and a dash of pepper and created an icon. Organic Quinoa (Water, Organic White Quinoa, Organic Red Quinoa), Organic Kale, Organic Garlic, Olive Oil, Salt, Black Pepper.
HEAT a large (14-in.) non-stick skillet over HIGH heat. ADD 1 bag (2.5 lbs) of frozen product to skillet with 3/4 cup water. Reduce heat to MEDIUM. Cover and cook 6-8 minutes or until temperature registers 165F, stirring occasionally.
Place 1 lb (about 4 1/4 cups) into a microwave-safe bowl. Cover with lid. Microwave on HIGH 5-7 minutes or until internal temperature registers 165F. Stir before serving.
